Anyways, The Velvet Teen New Years Eve extravaganza at Bottom of the Hill was an absolute blast and we really look forward to playing more with those gents in the future. On a similar note, we’ll be back at Bottom of the Hill March 2nd with O’Brother and Junius so mark your calendars. We’ve got tons of big things planned for 2012 including ALBUM #2 (!!!) and a bunch of other new treats so we couldn’t be more excited. Time to get productive! It’s a new year, follow your heart and do something you love, after all, you’ve only got until December! Kidding…

November was such a blast! We had a great time on the #MEBTour with our new friends in Culprit and The Paper Melody and closed it out at home with some other awesome bands in San Francisco at one of my favorite venues, Bottom of the Hill. If you caught us on our last few tours, you just might have seen a dashing young lad, Javier Torres, crushing the drums for us. It only takes a minute to recognize his immense swagger and talent behind the drum-kit and a another minute talking with him to realize how incredibly humble he is as well. You also might think he looks like an even more handsome version of the new Conan the Barbarian. We tend to agree. Anyways, we love him to death so we wanted to share a new cover video of his that he recently posted to his youtube page: www.youtube.com/user/jtdrum88. Thanks so much to all who made it out to catch us on this most recent tour! The first six dates of the RX Farewell Tour were such a blast beyond belief. We got to play some really great venues (some of which I hadn’t played since my first tour over 8 years ago), meet so many kind and supportive new fans, and become part of such an amazingly loving and passionate community of people in the RXB camp. HUGE thanks and love to RX Bandits for having us on the tour and much love to our new homies in Maps And Atlases and Zechs Marquise. It was an honor to be in such great musical company. Special thanks to all of you who came out to the shows on our way home in El Paso, Mesa, Fullerton, San Diego and our hometown in San Francisco on the way home. We were so pleased and excited to see so many lovely new faces enjoying our music with us :)

NEW DATES!
We are doing a few more California shows with A Great Big Pile of Leaves coming up in a couple weeks. We’re hitting San Diego, Anaheim, Sacramento and San Jose. I’ll be on double-duty again playing guitar for AGBPOL again so check the tour-dates and come early to catch both sets!
