Band

Hello Friends of the Inter-web!

Our band is called HAPPY BODY SLOW BRAIN and we make Progressive R&B music. HBSB has been a back-burner type project of mine for a few years now and it’s an amazing feeling to finally bring it to life with two musicians I truly admire and am inspired by in Isaac Bolivar and Eduardo Torres. With this band, we want to make unique and interesting music that incorporates elements of lots of the wide array of influences we all share from Prog to Jazz to R&B to Dance to Rock, Soul or Funk. The idea is to create something real and expressive and true to who we are as musicians and people on this earth. We don’t just want to be a band, we want to create a GREAT band.

The three of us made a record in Michigan a few weeks ago with our close friend, Marc Hudson, (Saves the Day, Two Tongues) and we are currently in the process of mixing it and hope to have it out soon. We had the best time making it and we are incredibly pumped to share it with everyone! The title of the record will be “DREAMS OF WATER” and we’ll be posting clips/videos/music from it all over the place in the upcoming weeks.

As of now, we are completely DIY and excited to find a home for our band and to start touring again. If you like what we do, it helps us tremendously for you to tell a friend to check us out. Music is in our blood, and we couldn’t see doing anything else with our lives. We hope that you’ll love it as much as we do :)
